Mrs. Mabel V. Hall, 62, of near Roachdale died Wednesday morning in Putnam County Hospital at Greencastle where she had been a patient overnight. She was born Feb 17, 1908 at English to Ellis and Nellie Nobblit Mattox. On Oct 9, 1942 she married Fred Hall at Bedford. Mrs. Hall was a member of Bedford Baptist Church, Future Homemakers [of America] Club and Bainbridge chapter Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are her husband, a son, and daughter, both at home; two brothers, George Mattox of Illinois and Robert of California; a sister, Mrs. Dorcas INnes of Lexington KY and nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Perkins Funeral Home. Rev. Homer Cochran will officiate. Burial in Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 pm. Wednesday.
