Stockwell – Harry Irving Hall, 81, died unexpectedly at his home at 11 a.m. Friday. Born in Putnam County, he married Effie Hamilton in 1906 near Cloverdale. He was a farmer and worked for the old Lafayette Street Railroad which ran to Battle Ground.  He retired from the Stockwell Grain Elevator.  Mr. Hall was a member of IOOF Merger Lodge 5 in Lafayette.  Surviving with the widow are a son, Cecil G. Hall of Sims, one daughter, Miss Eilean Hall who is Stockwell postmaster and a sister, Mrs. Jewett Nickerson of Cloverdale. – kbz

Hall, Harry Irvin – Friends may call at the Dickerson Funeral Home, Stockwell after 2 p.m. Sunday. Services there at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Rev. Jack Williams officiating. Burial in Concord Cemetery. Four grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren survive.
