GUNTLE, Sarah - Putnam

Mrs. Sarah Guntle, age 84 years well known resident of Cloverdale died at her home there, Thursday night at 10 o’clock. She had been in ill health since she suffered a stroke about five years ago. Mrs. Guntle had been a resident of Cloverdale for the past 18 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Cloverdale and member of the Cloverdale Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Her former home was at Darlington. The only immediate survivor is a daughter, Miss Anna Guntle of Cloverdale. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock from the Reed Funeral Home. Another service will be held at 3:30 o’clock at Darlington. Burial will be in the Darlington cemetery. – kbz
