GRIMES, Samuel G - Putnam

Ladoga – Funeral services for Samuel G. Grimes, 73 of Russellville who died at the home of a son in Browns Valley were held today at Browns Valley with burial in the Indian Creek cemetery. He was a member of the Christian Church and had been a trustee of the church many years.  He was a member of the Russellville Knights of Pythias Lodge 53 years and charter member of the Montgomery County Farm Bureau. He was a graduate teacher of the old Normal College at Covington. He is survived by the widow and son, Gale Grimes, principal of the New Ross High School. – kbz
