Franklin – Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth R. Green, 80, who died Tuesday evening in Michigan will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Vandivier Funeral Home, 951 N Main, Franklin. Friends may call at the funeral home at time and Rev. Claude McClure will officiate for the services. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Green resided at the Wotring Nursing Home in Adrian, Michigan and was bedfast for two years. Born Feb 11, 1888, in Greencastle she was the daughter of Milton and Sarah L. Grider Bradshaw. In 1904 she married Raymond V. Green and he died in 1936. Mrs. Green was educated in Roachdale schools and moved to Franklin after her marriage. While living in the city, she belonged to the Methodist Church and American War Mothers. Survivors include two children, James R. Green of Adrian and Harold B. Green of Kecumseh, Michigan. Two sisters, Mae Shannon living at the Franklin Methodist Home and Jesse Orr of Richmond; two granddaughters and four great grandchildren also survive. One daughter, Mildred and a grandson, Michael are deceased - kbz
