George F. Graham died at his home on West Main Street early on Wednesday morning. He has been confined to his bed for several months following two strokes of paralysis. Funeral services were held at the Russellville M.E. Church on Thursday morning. Interment in the Russellville Cemetery. Mr. Graham was the son of James C. and Mary Graham, and was born in Jackson County, August 9, 1842. Nearly all his life, however, has been spent in the neighborhood of Waveland and Russellville. For many years he lived on the farm, east of town. He also engaged in the threshing business and breeding horses, and was widely known and well liked. His first wife, who died in 1879, was Miss Lydia Lookabill. November 2, 1882 he married Miss Rachel Smith, of Alamo. Six children were born to them. Two died in infancy, and a daughter, Mrs. Ada Henning, died April 13, the present year. There are living two sons, Aaron and Victor, a daughter, Dilla, and three grandchildren.
