Mrs. Mae Gott age 63 years, wife of Ira Gott of Russellville died at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville Tuesday night shortly before midnight following an operation which she underwent Saturday.  Mrs. Gott was the daughter of John William and Sarah Elizabeth Pitts Murray. She was married to William Wright who died in 1901 and to this union was born one son, Frank who died at age four.  In 1908 she was married to Ira Gott.  Most of her life was spent in the Russellville community.  She was a member of the Russellville Federated Church, the Russellville Pythian Sister lodge and was active in community affairs.  Survivors besides the husband are a  brother, William Murray of Russellville, a sister, Mrs. Doll Fulton of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews.  One brother, Bert Murray died in 1932.  Funeral services were held from the Russellville Federated Church Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
