GOSSA, Herbert - Putnam

Mr. Herbert Gossa, 4031 Eastern Avenue father of Mrs. Thelma Wright, brother of Mr. Othie Gossa, grandfather of Mrs. Barbara Thomberry and two great granddaughters, passed away Wednesday. Funeral services Saturday morning 10:30 o’clock Flanner & Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary. Friends invited.  Note: he was born in Putnam County son of Frank and Sarah (Carter) Goosey (sic).

Services for Herbert Gossa, 83, 4031 Eastern avenue who died Wednesday in west 10th Street Veterans Administration Hospital will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Flanner & Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary with burial in Washington Park East Cemetery.  Mr. Gossa retired as a hosting engineer in 1952.  He was a member of Capitol City Masonic Lodge and the Operating Engineers’ Union.  Mr. Gossa was an Army veteran of WWI. - kbz
