GOLTRA, Minnie Wasson - Putnam

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Charles W. Goltra, mother of WW Goltra of this city at Los Angeles Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Luke Wood. Death was due to injuries sustained in a fall several weeks ago. Mr. Goltra left for California Sunday. Mrs. WW Goltra received word of the death of the former local woman from her husband. Mrs. Minnie Wasson Goltra was born in Russellville 79 years ago the daughter rof Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Wasson.  She was married to Charles Goltra 60 years ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. During her lifetime, most of which was spent in Crawfordsville, Mrs. Goltra was prominent in the social life of the community and a woman greatly admired.  A fall sustained several weeks ago in which she injured her head was the cause of the death of the well known woman, who until 17 years ago made her home in this city.
