GOHMAN, Elizabeth Oliver - Putnam

ROCKVILLE— Mrs. Elizabeth McIntyre Gohman, 83, of Rockville, died at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday at the Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton. She had been a patient there the past five weeks and in failing health about five years. Born June 13, 1884, in Russellville, Mrs. Gohman was the daughter of John and Susan Lear Oliver. She first Married Luther McIntyre who preceded her in death July 26, 1940. She later married Henry Gohman who preceded her in death Oct. 9, 1967. A resident of the Parke County area for 55 years, Mrs. Gohman was a member of the Rockville Feilenzer American Legion Post 48 Auxiliary, the Paul Taylor VFW Auxiliary and the Rebekah Lodge. She was also a member of the Rockville Christian Church. Survivors include a son. John McIntyre of Bloomingdale; a grandson, David of Blooming- 1 dale; a sister, Mrs. Anna Vaught of Terre Haute and a niece, Mrs. John R. Porter of Lebanon. Funeral services will be held | at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Tudor Funeral Home in Rockville. Rev Roger T. Rankin will officiate. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery at Marshal.
