Robert C. Goff, 44, 2505 East Main Street, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 12:30 a.m. Saturday. He was born in Russellville and married Roselyn Inge in 1933. He was district manager for the High Point Oil Company in Lafayette for 12 years. He was a member of Scottish Rite and Elks lodges and Christian Church at Rockville. Survivors are the widow, a daughter, Judy, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. CE Goff and a brother, Albert, Russellville. – kbz

Russellville, Nov. 13. -- Robert C. Goff, 44, died in Lafayette at 1 a. m. Saturday after a short illness. The son of Clarence and Julia Simpson Goff, he was born near here Oct. 7, 1905. He spent the early part of his life here, then moved to Lafayette in 1938. He was district supervisor for an oil company. Surviving are the widow, Roselyn; a daughter, Julia Winifred; his parents, who live near here; a brother, Albert of Russellville; a niece and nephew, two aunts, and three uncles. Funeral services will be at 3 p. m. Monday at Sollar and Baker funeral home in Lafayette. The body then will be returned to the parents’ home near here, where friends may call after 7 p. m. Monday. Short services will be held there at 1 p. m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Hebron cemetery. Rev. Ernest Fitch, of the Russellville Christian church, will be in charge. ---typed by Walt W
