Mrs. Mary Clay Goff, 82, died at her home in Russellville, Monday following a severe heart attack. She was the widow of James M. Goff. Survivors are; 3 children, Mrs. Alva Doyel, Russellville, Mrs. Tilley Raquet, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Maxine Hall, Bainbridge, 2 sisters; Mrs. Effie Owens, and Mrs. Cora Hyten, both of Russellville. Funeral services are Thursday morning with burial at Hebron cemetery   --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker

Mrs. Mary Clay Hyten GOFF the youngest child of Dr. William and Elizabeth Crawford Hyten was born at Danville, Indiana July 21, 1853 and died June 8, 1936 at the home in Russellville aged 82 years 10 months 17 days. She married John William Goff June 10, 1874 at the Hyten home in Parkersburg. They were six children, the eldest son died in infancy. The husband preceded her in death Dec 10, 1932. Survivors are 5 children, Mrs. Alma M. Carrington, Mrs. Bertha L. Doyel, Mrs. Maggie Clay Hall, Wm. Depew Goff and Mrs. Cintilla Raquet, six grandchildren and six great. Two sisters, Mrs. Effie Owens who lived with Mrs. Goff, Miss Cora Hyten of Roachdale and one brother Tillman Hyten of Lebanon also survive.
