GOFF, James H. - Putnam

Russellville, Feb 17  - James H. Goff, 78, life-long resident of Russellville died at 4 o’clock Thursday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Hazlett, the result of infirmities of age.  Mr. Goff was born in the Russellville neighborhood where he was well known as a farmer. His wife preceded him in death. The deceased was a member of the Christian Church.  He is survived by the daughter, one sister, Ruth Hannah Wilson, and four brothers: George, Ben and Fletcher Goff of Russellville and Charles Goff of Frankfort. The funeral will be held at 10 o’clock Saturday morning at the Russellville Christian Church with the Rev. LE Murray of Indianapolis officiating. – kbz
