Indianapolis, March 19 - Dr. Hilary A. Gobin, VP emeritus of DePauw University died here yesterday.

Indianapolis March 18 - Dr. H.A. Gobin, 81 years old, vice president emiritus of DePauw University and nationally known educator, died today at a local hospital of an illness due principally to advanced age. Dr. Gobin who was formerly president of DePauw, resigned recently in order to be relieved of the heavy responsibilities of the position.  He was given the honorary appointment of vice president emeritus. Dr. Gobin was at one time connected with Baldwin College in Kansas and came from there to DePauw. The body will be taken to his home in Greencastle, Ind tomorrow where funeral services will be held. – kbz
