Robert Homer, the youngest child of George and Angeline Todd GRIFFIN, was born near Ash Grove MO on Sept 9, 1893, and departed this life on April 24, 1958 while at his job with JD Adams Company in Indianapolis. He spent all his adult life in central Indiana. For the past 17 yeares he lived in Hendricks and Marion Counties. He was a member of the Ben Davis Christian Church and Russellville Pythia Lodge. On Dec 8, 1912 he was united in marriage with Bertha BLanche Johnson and enjoyed their home together these past 45 years. To their union only an infant daughter was given. His parents, two small sisters and one brother and several uncles and aunts have preceded him in death. To mourn and miss him, Homer leaves his beloeve wife, two brothers-in-laws, Clateon and Cyril Johnson, one sister-in-law, Mary Jo and several very close friends. The host of folks and cousins who knew and liked "Griff" will remember him.

R. Homer GRIFFIN, 64, died Thursday in Methodist Hospital, after suffering a heart attack. A native of Missouri, Mr. Griffin was born Sept 9, 1893, the son of George and Angeline Todd Griffin. Survivors include the widow, Blanche who lives at the residence two miles east of Danville, Indiana on US 36 and two brothers-in-law, Cyril Johnson of Greensburg and Clayton Johnson of Russellville. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 at the McGaughey & Sons Funeral Home here by Rev. Henry Hill of Indianapolis. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home.
