Marjorie Louise Gilliland, 67, of Rt. 1, Roachdale, died at 11:43 a.m. Friday in Winona Memorial Hospital at Indianapolis after an extended illness. She was a member of the Roachdale Christian Church, a charter member of the Town and Country Club, the Social Club, the Indiana Extension Homemakers Association and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Gilliland was born April 20, 1917 at Roachdale to Tom and Letha O’Connor. She was graduated from Roachdale High School On Feb. 17, 1940, she was married to Daniel Gilliland at Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1962. Survivors include three nieces, Mrs. Keith (Donna) Clark and Mrs. George (Betty) Priest of Crawfordsville and Laura Gilliland of Baton Rouge, La.; and a sister-in-law, Emma Pearl Gilliland of Crawfordsville. Services are set for 2 p.m. Monday in Servies and Morgan Funeral Home at Roachdale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will in Roachdale Cemetery.
