GIDDINGS, Martha - Putnam

In Bainbridge Ind, Nov 19, Mrs. Martha P. Giddings at the age of 89 years 8 months and three days. Her maiden name was Hudson. She was born in Tenn in 1801 and came to Corydon, Ind in 1811. In early life she united with the ME Church and was always a consistent Christian. Her four children died young and her husband in 1840. For many years she lived with Mr. Low and in her old age and feebleness was kindly cared for by her niece, Mrs. Low. The funeral was conducted by Rev. CT White. - kbz
