GIBBS, Walter Harold - Putnam

Walter Harold GIBBS, 68, died Wed. morning January 22, 1961 at his home in Rockville. He was born Dec 1, 1892 in Polk Co NC son of James and Hannah Lawter Gibbs. He was a veteran of WWI and retired used car salesman in Rockville. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, his first wife, Mrs. Maude Miller Gibbs. Surviving are the widow, Juanita Hazlett; 3 daughters, Mrs. Edna Barker, Indianapolis; Mrs. Pearl Harbison and Mrs. Grace Humphreys of Judson; a son, Walter of Rockville and 9 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday in Portland Mills Church with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Veterans conducted graveside services.
