GIBBS, Baxter - Putnam

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Peffley and son Alva of Lowell were in Hillsboro Wednesday morning calling on her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Myers.  Mr. and Mrs. Peffley and son, accompanied by their daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beasley of Hillsboro went to Russellville to attend the funeral service of Mr. Peffley’s brother-in-law, Baxter Gibbs, 67 who died Monday morning.  He was married to Olive Grace Peffley. The funeral service was held at the residence Wednesday afternoon with burial in Hebron cemetery.   ---transcribed by kbz
