GERLACK, Edith Brothers - Putnam

Cloverdale – Mrs. Edith Gerlach, 63 of Rt 1, Cloverdale died Thursday night at the Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. She was born Nov 2, 1905 in Roachdale, daughter of William and Elsie (Batman) Brothers.  Her married was Feb 24, 1924 to Albert Gerlach and he survives with two sons, Carl and Robert both of Cloverdale; two brothers, Jesse Brothers of Rockfield and Edward Brothers of Monticello; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Charles of Muncie and Mrs. Betty Luzena of South Bend; and six grandchildren.  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale with Rev. Sheldon Hurley officiating. Burial will following Cloverdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime. - kbz
