GERALD, Olivia Hicks - Putnam

Mrs. Olivia May Gerald, 49, died Sunday at her home near Mooresville. She was a former Putnam County resident. She was born near Raccoon November 25, 1888, the daughter of Willard and Alice Shannon Hicks. She married August 1, 1909 to Grover Gerald, who survives. Other survivors are her mother, Mrs. Alice Hicks; four daughters; Mrs. Florence Obenchain, Ladoga, Mary, Ruth, and Betty Gerald at home; four sons; Huston and Walter of Ladoga and John and James at home; one brother Herman Hicks, of Rockville and two grandchildren. The body was brought Monday to Chastain funeral home.
