GASAWAY, Maude Yopp - Putnam

Mrs. Maude Gasaway age 61 years, wife of Lawrence Gasaway died Monday night at her home at 1122 S College Avenue. She had been ill for the past two weeks.  Mrs. Gasaway was well known in Greencastle where she spent most of her life.  She was born Oct 8, 1882 near Salem, VA the daughter of the late Peter and Rosa Yopp.  Surviving are the husband, three daughters, Mrs. Cary Myers, Mrs. Lloyd Arnold and Thelma Gasaway all of Greencastle and one son, Don Gasaway also of Greencastle; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. George Shildmyer of Greencastle; a half-sister, Mrs. William Hammer of Indianapolis and one brother, Robert Yopp of Indianapolis. - kbz
