GARNER, Chester O. - Putnam

Funeral rites were held Friday at the Universalist church yesterday for Chester O. Garner, 50, well known farmer of near here, who died at the county hospital Monday morning. He had been ill but five days. Mr. Garner was born near here on December 9, 1888, the son of Walter and Lora Secrest Garner. He was married November 11, 1916, to June Scroggins of Urbana, Illinois. Survivors include the widow, a daughter Janet of Indianapolis, and the father. The mother died only recently. Rev. Russell Hetsler of Bellmore held the funeral services.
