FRY, Jessie Leona Clary - Putnam

ROACHDALE — Mrs. Jessie Leona Fry, 70, resident of this community for the past 27 years, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday at her home near Roachdale. Her death was caused by a heart attack. Mrs. Fry was born Nov. 22, 1895, near Mansfield, Ill., the daughter of Samuel and Clarissa Burnett Clary. She was married to Clifford Fry on June 4, 1912 at Champaign, Ill.

The deceased was a member of the Roachdale Christian Church.

Surviving, in addition to the husband, are two sons, Gregory C. Fry of Rt. 2, Crawfordsville and Noble C. Fry, Rt. 1, Roachdale; a daughter, Mrs. George Dawson of Crawfordsville; a brother, William Clary of Lake City, Iowa; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Perkins Funeral home in Roachdale. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the mortuary.
