James W. Frank, son of Martin and Polly Frank was born in Putnam County Indiana Aug 10, 1873, died at the ME Hospital Sunday at 9:15, 1930, age 56 years, 5 mo 25 days. He leaves to mourn his departure one sister and three brothers. They are: Susan Wiley; John, Charley and Clay Frank. Five sisters and one brother preceded him to the spirit world. They are as follows: Nan, Margaret, Mary, Rachel, Elizabeth and Harrison. During his sickness, he was a patient sufferer, always kind and cheerful and submissive to all things, and always ready to do whatever was suggested to him for the best. He was a firm believe in God’s word and said to us, many times during his sickness, before his limb was amputated, I am ready, no matter which way it goes. He was a perfectly reconciled to the will of God. He was united in marriage to Miss Dollie E. Hyatt Nov 27, 1902.  She passed away Aug 7, 1918. They lived happily together for 16 years. In Feb 1919 he united in marriage to Miss Margaret Pyle, who passed quietly away after several months of sickness July 27, 1925. On Aug 24, 1926 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Mattie Burglen who was injured in an automobile wreck near Greencastle and died a few hours late ron May 26, 1929. Mr. Frank as he was familiarly known to his neighbors was always kind and admired by all who knew him.  He was a good neighbor and was always willing and ready to do anything for the good of those around him.  He was kind in sickness and was always ready to help wherever he could life the burden of those in need. In life and death all travel toward God’s throne; his hands reach out to draw us gently home; He at our journey’s end gives peaceful rest; his heart the homeland of the blest. - kz
