FOSTER, William - Putnam

“Broadway” - Quite a number from this vicinity attended the funeral of Mr. Wm. Foster of Roachdale Wednesday which was held in the Universalist Church at Fincastle.  The funeral was preached by Rev. Wellington Holmes of Logansport.  It was considered by many people as being one of the sermons they had had the privilege of hearing in many a day.    ~~~transcribed by kbz
