John Fleishhauer, 54, a farmer and dairyman on Rural Route 1, Mulberry, died at Home hospital Sunday afternoon at 2:15 o’clock. He sustained a broken right hip June 7 when he was thrown by a dog and was brought to the hospital the same day.
Born in Putnam county, Nov. 3, 1875, Mr. Fleishhauer was a son of Ernest and Mary Fleishhauer. He spent practically all of his life in Clinton county near Mulberry. On Feb. 3, 1895, he married Amanda Rodocker, who survives, together with three sons and two daughters: Mrs. Russell House, Mulberry; Ross Fleishhauer, near Mulberry, Eldo, Esther and Charles Fleishhauer, all living at home. A brother, Will Fleishhauer; a sister, Mrs. Will Rex; a half-brother, Elmer Rex, all of the Mulberry vicinity, and several step-brothers also survive. Mr. Fleishhauer belonged to the Mulberry Lutheran church.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Lutheran church at Mulberry. The pastor, the Rev. I. Whitman, will officiate; burial in Fair Haven cemetery. – thanks to Lena
