FISHER, Mary Crist - Putnam

Mrs. Mary Fisher, 76, who had worked for 22 years for Fletcher Trust Co. and eight years for Banker Trust Co. at Indianapolis, died Sunday in Culver Hospital. She had made her residence at Ben Hur Nursing Home. She was a member of New Market Methodist Church, Waveland OES 539, 50-year member Scott Township Home Economics club and New Market Woman's Club. Born Aug. 27, 1900, at Greencastle, she was a daughter of Lee and Pauline Wolfe Crist. She was married March 22, 1942, to Alfred A. Fisher. He died in 1955. She is survived by a stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Jennings, who resides in Michigan. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Powers Funeral Home at New Market. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery at Waveland. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday. - jlr
