FISHER, Donald J. - Putnam

Donald J. Fisher, 60 of Rt 7, Terre Haute, formerly of Crawfordsville died Saturday afternoon (Jan 8) in Union Hospital, Terre Haute. He was a salesman for the Hardware Supply Co. of TH. He was associated here in business with his father, the late Joseph Fisher operating the Wide Awake Variety Store. Mr. Fisher was born Jan 31, 1905 to Joseph and Ada Fisher. He is survived by his wife Edna; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Richards of Rochester, Minn; a son, Thoams H. Fisher of Greencastle; a brother, Beauford Fisher of Pacific Grove, Calif; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Templin of Gaston, Ind and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services are announced for 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Thomas Funeral Home in Terre Haute where friends may call. Rev. Chester Mahan will officiate and burial will bein Roselawn Cemetery at that city. - kbz
