EVANS, Ellen - Putnam

Gooding – Mrs. Ellen M. Evans, 48 of Tuttle died at her home at midnight Friday.  Born in Cloverdale, Ind June 20, 1904 she resided in Rawlins Wyo and Rock Springs, Wyoming and taught in schools in Genoa and Lamar, Colo.  She graduated from Gooding College in 1927.  She married Hubert W. Evans April 1, 1932.  She was a member of the Presbyterian Baptist Church, Wendell.  Survivors include her husband; a son, Herbert Evans of Tuttle, a daughter, Miss Annabelle Evans of Tuttle; a stepmother, Mrs. Nettie Martin of Milwaukee, Wis; three brothers, Paul Martin of Burley and Charles and John Martin of Chelan, Wash; and two sisters, Miss Lillian Martin of Olympia, Wash and Mrs. Mary Stone, Hollydale, Cal.  Services will be held at the Presbyterian-Baptist Church, Wendell at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Frank Mar officiating.  Interment will be at Wendell. – kbz
