ETCHESON, Daniel V. - Putnam

Daniel V. Etcheson, 77, prominent hardware dealer, died Sunday following an extended illness. Etcheson, a life-long resident of Bainbridge vicinity, was the father of William E. Etcheson, Roachdale Postmaster. Other survivors are three sons; Ray, Clarence , and Claude Etcheson of near Bainbridge a daughter Mrs. Maude Hartman of Westville and two sisters; Mrs. Nancy Stevens and Mrs. Mary Kelley, Bloomington. Etcheson's health had been failing since an automobile accident months ago. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Bainbridge Christian church. Burial was made at Hebron cemetery near Russellville.  --- thanks to Marilyn Walker
