William O. Eskew, 57, died at the Veterans' Administration Facility, Danville, Ill at 7:45 o'clock Monday morning. He had been suffering from paralysis for the past 9 months. Mr. Eskew was born at Raccoon, Putnam County, the son of Wyatt J. and DOretta M. Durham Eskew, was a member of the Shannondale Presbyterian Church and spent his entire life in central Indiana except 13 months of army duty during the first World War, when he was overseas.
Mr. Eskew was never married. He is survived by four sisters,Mrs. Albert Harlan, Waynetown; Miss Mayme Eskew, Indianapolis; Mrs. WK LaFollette, Shannondale, and Mrs. MB Crowder, Crawfordsville, a brother JC Eskew, near New Market also survives as do several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine in charge. Burial was made in the Shannondale Cemetery.
