The body of Dr. WD Epperson arrived here yesterday afternoon on the afternoon train on the Missouri Pacific from Lafayette Ind where he had lived. Dr. Epperson died there in the St. Elizabeth Hospital Thursday morning. He had been ill since the Saturday before. He had lived there for the past 11 years, having lived here before that. He moved here in 1883 and was well known here among the old settlers. He was a veterinary surgeon. He was 73 years old and was born near Hamilton, Ohio. Dr. Epperson always took an active part in the affairs of the city here and in Lafayette after he moved there. At one time he was milk and meat inspector of Lafayette. He leaves three brother and two sisters, John J. Epperson of Andvance, Ind; Edward Epperson of Champaign, Ill; Frank Epperson of Roachdale, Ind and Mrs. Cope and Mrs. Northcutt of Crawfordsville, Ind.
