David J. England, 86, retired farmer of Russellville in Putnam County died at 11 a.m. Monday at the home of his son, J. Everett England, 202 N. Dill St, where he had made his home since September. He was a member of the Bellmore Methodist Church in Putnam County. His wife, Louisa, died five years ago. Surviving besides the son here are two other sons, Ray L. England of Crawfordsville and Paul England of Peoria, Ill; one brother, Jesse England of Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Sheffler and Mrs. Laura Richards of Lincoln, Ill and 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The body was taken to the Stephens Funeral Home where friends may call from 7-9 Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Russellville Christian Church. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery near there. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour before the service. - kbz
