EMERY, Elsie Richards - Putnam

Frankfort – Elsie F. Emery, 87 of West Freeman Street, Frankfort, died at 4 p.m. Friday in St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a homemaker.  Mrs. Emery was a member of Home United Methodist Church and the church circle. She was born Sept 8, 1900 in Putnam County. In 1916 she married Wilfred Salisbury. He died in 1916.  Her second marriage was in 1937 to Archie B. Emery who died Aug 3, 1960.  Surviving are two sons, Carl Salisbury of Michigantown and Jerry Emery of Frankfort; two daughters, Mary Biber of Frankfort and Saundra Ragland of Indianapolis; two stepsons, Carl Emery of Frankfort and Archie Emery of Lebanon and one stepdaughter, Phyllis Perotta of Wellsburg, W VA. – kbz
