ELLESS, Albert J. - Putnam

Albert J. Elless, 74, died Friday morning. Funeral services were held at his home Sunday afternoon, with burial in Ladoga cemetery. He was born August 21, 1864, at Arthur, Illinois, the son of Ezra and Sarah Ann Fair Elless. He married in 1886 to Laura B. Hawkins who survives. He moved to Indiana from Illinois in 1921. He was a former commissioner of Coles County, Illinois. Other survivors are are daughter; Mrs. Sylvia Leach of Morristown, a son George Elless of Ladoga; a brother, four sisters and five grandchildren.
