Danville, Ind - Willkiam C. Eggers, 71 Danville, a retired bank president died Thursday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Porter Funeral Home, North Salem wtih calling from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
Mr. Eggers haad been president of First National Bank, Danville, retiring in 1980. Later, he was a business partner in Mystic Village, North Salem.
He was a member of Danville United Methodist Church and longtime treasurer of Danville Little League.
Mr. Eggers was a Coast Guard veteran of WWII.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church's Boy Scout troop of which he was scoutmaster.
SUrvivors: wife, Bonnie B. Jenkins Eggers; son Thomas Eggers; brothers, Gardner, Samuel and John L. Eggers; a grandson.
