EGGERS, Susan Jane Thompson - Putnam

Last rites for Mrs. Susan Jane Eggers, 83, who died Friday morning of last week, were held at Chastain funeral home, Saturday afternoon. Burial was in New Maysville cemetery. Born near here January 22, 1855, the daughter of Andrew and Sarah Pearson Thompson, and was married to John Will Eggers, who preceded her in death in 1934. Survived by son, Allan Eggers, two granddaughters; Betty and Phyllis Eggers, a sister, Mrs. Melvina Owens of Wanata and a brother Hugh Thompson of near here   --- thanks so very much to Marilyn W. for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated !.
