EGGERS, Ressie Baker - Putnam

Roachdale - Mrs. Ressie Pearl Eggers, 66, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the Putnam County Hospital at Greencastle. She had been seriously ill since Dec 25. Born Sept 6, 1895, in Barnard, she was a daughter of Edward and Miranda Baker. She was married Dec 24, 1913 to Ortha Ray Eggers in Indianapolis. Mrs. Eggers was a member of the New Maysville Community Church. Survivors include her husband, a son, Charles of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Stevenson of Indianapolis; a brother Ora Baker of Roachdale; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha McConnaha of Indianapolis and Mrs. Iza Joseph of Bainbridge; three grandchildren and 7 great. Funeral services held Tuesday at Perkins Funeral Home with Rev Ray Britton in charge; burial in Roachdale Cemetery.
