EGGERS, Patrick Henry - Putnam

Patrick Henry Eggers, 82, is dead at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chas. Higgins at Groveland near here, following a serious illness of 3 weeks with arterio sclerosis. Death came at 7:45 o'clock Wednesday morning. The deceased was the son of Jesse and Sarah Eggers. He was born in Putnam County Oct 17, 1847. He was a member of the Baptist Church. The survivors are the widow, Samantha Eggers; two sons, Jesse of Cloverdale and Otho of Indianapolis,; six daughters, Mrs. George Hendricks of Indianapolis, Mrs. Charles Hedge of Lebanon; Mrs. Charles Higgins Groveland, Mrs. Harvey Moreland of near Roachdale, Mrs. Albert Hypes of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ora Baker of Indianapolis and 16 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the New Maysville Baptist Church Friday morning at 11. Burial in New Maysville cemetery.
