EGGERS, Milton A. - Putnam

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Chastain funeral home for Milton A. Eggers, 83, well known local resident, who died at the Putnam county hospital at Greencastle Tuesday afternoon. He had been ill several years and in a serious condition the past month. Mr. Eggers was more familiarly known here as "Milt", was a retired farmer and stock buyer and formerly had dealt in real estate in this section. His wife died December 17, 1938. Survivors include a son Carl of this place, a daughter Mrs. Gertrude Bartlett of Indianapolis, a sister Mrs. Lydia Surber of this place and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
