EGGERS, Iva Harwood - Putnam

-- Mrs. Iva Harwood Eggers died at her home on south John Street Friday night at 3 o'clock from pneumonia after a short illness lasting from October 16. Mrs. Eggers was born in this county March 16, 1902 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Harwood. She married Rollie Eggers Aug 17, 1918. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, parents, 3 sisters, Jessie Merle, Rosella May and Ester Rene, all at home; three brothers, Thomas Jefferson, Perry Francis and Theodore, at home. Funeral services will be held at 12 o'clock Sunday from the residence of Truman Eggers, South John Street with Rev. George Hill officiating. Interment will take place at Freedom cemetery. -- kbz
