EDWARDS, Bessie May McCampbell - Putnam

ROACHDALE – Bessie May Edwards, 82, of Roachdale, died today in Carmen Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Roachdale Presbyterian Church and Roachdale Order of eastern Star. She was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School. Born June 10, 1894, she was a daughter of Richard C. and Anna McCampbell of Crawfordsville. She was married to Ralph Edwards. Survivors are a son, Richard of New York, N. Y., a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Margaret) Powers of Crawfordsville; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a husband, a sister and a brother. Services will be at 2 p. m. Sunday in Powers Funeral Home at Crawfordsville with the Rev. Leo Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p. m. Saturday.
