Former Resident, Dies at Capital
INDIANAPOLIS - Albert W. Edwards, Rt. 3, Box 842-M6 of Indianapolis, died Sunday in Indianapolis.
He was born in Crawfordsville, the son of Everett and Elizabeth Edwards, and lived his early life near the Wesley Chapel, attending school near there. He worked for a time in Kansas in the oil business, then moved to Indianapolis, where he continued in the oil business for 12 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna B. Edwards; a son, Albert W. Edwards, Jr.; three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve A. Huffman, Mrs. Helen M. Hanna and Mrs. Alegra L. Rider, and two aunts in Crawfordsville, Mrs. Ada Edwards and Mrs. Helen Edwards.
The funeral will be at 10 a. m. Thursday at the Flanner & Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary in Indianapolis. Friends may call after 7 p. m. Tuesday.
