EDMONDS, Thelma Rice - Putnam

Boswell, Oct 13 – Mrs. Thelma Elizabeth Edmonds, 40, wife of Raymond Edmonds, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette Friday at 4 p.m. after giving birth to a daughter, who also died.  Born at Roachdale, she taught school in Boswell before her marriage in 1939. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Order of Eastern Star. Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Janetta and Janiel, at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. JC Rice of Roachdale and a brother, James. Body at Yuill Funeral Home.  – kbz
