EDIE, Martha Shannon - Putnam

Sheridan – Martha E. Edie, 93 of Sheridan died Tuesday Feb 23, 1999 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.  Mrs. Edie was a telephone receptionist for 17 years for Kercheval Funeal Home in Sheridan, before retiring in 1993. Prior to that she worked as a clerk for Weavers & Sons Clothing and as a telephone receptionist for Biddle Screw Co both of Sheridan. She was born May 8, 1905 in Greencastle, Ind, the daughter of John and Sarah Emma (Smalle) Shannon. On April 16, 1921, she married Willis Roy Edie. He died in 1962. – kbz
