Their many friends sympathize with these sorrowing parents in the loss of their dear little boy who was so suddenly torn form their fond embrace. Your little Johnnie, the dear bud of promise was too frail and tender to bear the cold chills of winter; his little feet were too tender to walk the rugged path to manhood, Cheer up fond parents your sweet boy rest in angels’ keeping until resurrection morn; he was loved by all who knew him and we would say to mother and father: Dry thy sad tears, dispel the gloom nor how thy head in vain regret; ‘tis but the casket in the tomb.
