DOBELL, Frederick - Putnam

Died in Greencastle township on August 14, 892 of lung disease after a long sickness, Frederick W, son of Joseph and Alice Dobell in the 17th year of his age. Deceased was a bright young man, handsome, kind and courteous; his loss is a sorrow not only to the family but also to a large circle of friends. The funeral took place on Tuesday morning, from the family residence, the services being conducted by Dr. Gobin, Dr. Town and Rev. RM Dillon.  A sad coincidence of this death is that Mr. Dobell’s father died at Lawrenceburg on Thursday Aug 11 and was buried on Aug 13, but because of Frederick’s critical condition he could not attend his father’s funeral. - kbz
