DOBBS, L.A. - Putnam

Greencastle June 20 – LA Dobbs of Belle Union died Thursday afternoon of cancer. Mr. Dobbs was one of the widely known  farmers of Putnam County and a brother of George Dobbs, county assessor and a member of the city council. The funeral was held Friday with burial at Stilesville. Mr. Dobbs took the radium treatment for the disease, but after visiting specialists in NY, St. Louis and other cities returned here without being benefited. - kbz
