DIEL, Ruby

Mrs. Ruby Diel, wife of John R. Diel, residing two and a half miles northwest of Reelsville in Putnam County passed away at the Clay County Hospital, aged 39 years. Mrs. Diel had been in failing health for the past two years. She was born at Coats, Kan., and was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Moss, but had resided in Putnam County since she was two years old. Survivors besides the husband are a son and daughter, Charles E. and Florence I. Diel, at home; six sisters and a brother, Mrs. Guy Harris, Marion, Ind.; Mrs. Claude Vanitti, Dick Johnson Township, Mrs. George Blair, Danville, Ind.; Mrs. Clayton Frye, and Mrs. James Lucas, Brazil; Miss Betty Moss, Indianapolis, and Pvt. Melvin E. Moss, of the U. S. Army: also a number of nieces and nephews. The body was taken to Miller & Sons Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 10:30 o’clock Friday morning.
